Tips for Crispy Perfection
Shaking the Basket During Cooking
To achieve an even crispiness, shake the basket halfway through the cooking process. This ensures that all sides of the courgette fries are exposed to the circulating hot air.
Avoiding Overcrowding for Even Cooking
Overcrowding the basket can lead to uneven cooking. Give your courgette fries space to ensure each piece gets the right amount of heat.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Over-Seasoning
While seasoning is essential, overdoing it can overpower the natural flavour of the courgettes. Start with a light amount and adjust to taste.
Not Monitoring Cooking Time
Air frying is a quick process, and it’s crucial to monitor the cooking time to prevent overcooking and maintain the fries’ texture.
