  • 300ml warm water
  • 7g fast action yeast
  • 900g strong white bread flour
  • 10g salt

How To Cook Air Fryer No Knead Bread

In a big bowl, mix the warm water and yeast. To allow the yeast to activate, let the mixture stand for 5 minutes.

Once the yeast has stood for 5 minutes, add the flour and salt to the yeast mixture and stir until a rough dough forms.

Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.

Preheat the air fryer to 200 C / 400 F.

Once the dough has risen, place it onto a lightly floured surface and gently shape it into a round loaf.

500g plain white flour

1 tsp salt

1 tsp bicarbonate of soda (baking soda)

400 ml  whole or semi-skimmed milk

2 tbsp lemon juice

How to Make Soda Bread In An Air Fryer

Preheat the air fryer to 200C / 400F.

Add the lemon juice (either fresh or bottled) to the milk and let stand.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and bicarbonate of soda. Add the milk mixture. Once the milk has curdled it is ready.

Shape (do not knead ) the dough into a round loaf, doesn’t have to be perfect and place it in the basket.

Air fry the bread at 200C / 400F for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom. If browning too quickly, place some foil over the top.

Remove from the basket and allow to cool on a wire rack before slicing.

Storing Soda Bread

Keep your soda bread well-wrapped to keep it fresh, and eat it within 3 days. Do not refrigerate.
