First-Time Air Fryer Tips
- A toast rack can be used for multiple foods eg: toast, sausages and burgers.
- When making toasties place the crisper rack on top of your toastie to stop the top from flying off.
- Add a small amount of water to the bottom of the drawer below the crisper tray when cooking fatty foods to prevent smoke.
- Avoid cooking spinach, it will fly around the basket and not cook evenly.
- Don’t overcrowd the basket. Food will not cook evenly.
- Invest in a meat thermometer.
- Cooking times are not always accurate.
- Shake the basket while cooking for even cooking.
- Reheat food for crispier, tastier leftovers.
- Mix seasoning with olive oil to stop it from floating around the basket.
- It’s fine to pull out the basket to have a peek.
- Is your food browning too quickly? Place a piece of foil over the top or cover at the start of cooking and remove 10 minutes before the end of cooking time. Tuck it under the container or food item to avoid the foil blowing into the element.
