Substitute chicken for the steak if you prefer.

These tasty Fajitas can be served with guacamole, salsa, sour cream, and grated cheese.

Cooking fajitas in an air fryer offers a quick and efficient way to achieve a delicious meal with less oil compared to traditional methods. It’s also super quick!

Ingredients

This fajita filling will fill 6 Tortillas easily.

  • 454g (1lb) thinly sliced beef steak
  • 1 sliced red pepper
  • 1 sliced green pepper
  • 1 sliced yellow or orange pepper
  • Olive oil spray
  • 1 packet of Fajita Seasoning or make your homemade blend
  • 2 medium-sized onions sliced
  • 6 Flour Tortillas
  • Salt and pepper to season

Cooking Steak Fajitas In The Air Fryer

Preheat your air fryer to 200C / 400F for 5 minutes.

Cut the beef into even-sized cubes.

Slice the onions and peppers into strips.

Place the sliced vegetables in a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, add the fajita seasoning and set aside.

Once the air fryer is preheated, place the beef steak in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

How Long To Air Fry Steak Fajitas?

Air fry at 200C / 400F for approximately 8-10 minutes, or until the beef reaches your desired level of doneness. Remember to turn halfway through for even cooking.

Remove the beef strips from the air fryer and set aside.

Add the sliced onions and bell peppers to the air fryer basket.

Cook the vegetables for 4-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender and slightly charred.

Warm up your tortillas. (I heat mine in the microwave for a minute or two depending on the quantity).

Place a generous amount of the cooked beef, sautéed onions, and bell peppers onto each tortilla.

Add any optional toppings of your choice. eg: salsa, guacamole or sour cream.

Roll up the crispy tortillas and serve immediately.
