  • Preheat the air fryer to 190C / 380 F for 5 minutes.
  • Place the chicken in the air fryer basket and air fry at 190C / 380 F for 45-50 minutes, until the skin has browned and juices run clear. Use a meat thermometer- if cooked, the internal temperature should be 75C/165F.
  • Once cooked, remove the chicken from the air fryer. Cover with foil and let rest.

  • 2 tbsp olive oil (divided)
  • 1/2 tsp salt (divided)

  • 350g potatoes
  • 200g carrots

How To Make Gravy In The Air Fryer

  • 400 ml water
  • 3 chicken stock cubes
  • 2 tbsp cornflower
  • 6 tbsp water
  • Salt
  • Pepper

  • Make up the chicken stock by adding boiling water to the stock cubes. Stir well.

  • Air fry at 200 C / 400 F for 12 minutes. Shake halfway through.
  • Trim the green beans. Add the remaining oil to the basket and season with salt and pepper.
  • Mix so the green beans are covered by the potato and carrots to avoid burning.
  • Air fry for a further 10-12 minutes until soft. Shake halfway through.
  • While the vegetables are cooking prepare the gravy. In the saucepan bring the chicken stock to a boil. Mix the cornflour with 6 tbsp water. Add to the chicken stock, and thicken as required. Season with salt and pepper. Taste and add more seasoning if needed.
  • Carve the chicken. Serve with vegetables and gravy. Yum!
